How to increase Strength

Spend Exaltation on stat upgrades after reaching the train. In two replies on 27 October 2026, the project lead says Exaltation levels stats and that progression opens up once you get onto the train. This is a single official discussion source about the Early Access release, not a claim that the older demo has the same progression.

  • 1. If you have Exaltation but cannot spend it yet, continue until you board the train; this is the progression point the project lead identifies.
  • 2. At that point, look for the stat-upgrade choices and use Exaltation to raise Strength. The replies confirm the resource and progression point, but do not give a button sequence or an exact menu label.
  • 3. If your goal is fist parrying, the separately sourced milestone is Strength level 2. The developer qualifies that recollection; see the limit below before treating it as a complete build.

What Strength 2 is reported to unlock

In a 16 October 2026 reply, the project lead says fists can parry all melee attacks at Strength 2, with the qualifier “iirc.” The reply explicitly discusses Early Access. It does not state that only a Low Vibration character can meet that condition, or give the fist-parry input or timing window. Those limits stay explicit on the parry page.

Low Vibration changes: demo patch before Early Access

The official 22 June 2026 demo patch, “Last Patch Before Early Access,” groups the following changes under Low Vibration (Strength) Rework. They are historical patch changes for that start, not a universal bonus from buying a Strength point. The text is available in the Steam news API, item 1835871199313095.

Change in that patchHow to read it
Basic melee no longer requires the old complicated combo setup.Use the rework as the reference for Low Vibration, rather than copying complaints about the 2024 demo.
Power punching can charge separately; basic melee hits amplify its damage.A documented attack relationship, not a damage-per-level formula.
Healing from kills increased from 30 to 50.Listed under the Low Vibration rework; not a global heal-on-kill claim for every waveform.
All melee attacks for this class work in duels. The patch specifies this class, not every character or every duel mechanic.

Choosing points without an invented build

The June 2024 Strength thread concerns the older demo and predates the Low Vibration rework. Its four currently visible replies do not provide a numeric point-allocation guide, so they are not used as a current build formula.

For a fist-parry goal, use the qualified Strength 2 report above. For a melee-focused start, compare waveforms and the dated Low Vibration rework. The cited sources do not specify the Exaltation cost per level, a complete damage curve, a level cap, or a respec procedure.

Questions

How do you level Strength in Divine Frequency?

The project lead says Exaltation raises stats and becomes spendable once you get onto the train, in replies dated 27 October 2026. Choose Strength among the stat upgrades; the replies do not supply the exact menu sequence or cost.

What does Strength 2 do?

In a 16 October 2026 Early Access reply, the project lead recalls that fists can parry all melee attacks at Strength 2. This is one developer reply with an “iirc” qualifier, not a full breakpoint table.
