Meso-Divinities are optional duels
The store lists optional elite boss encounters, the Meso-Divinities, as arena duels that ask for timing. A June 2026 patch says duels can be fought in melee. Three duel spots in one player thread: before the train, on the train, and a bell tower.

Ascendant Champion armor
The project lead (16 June 2026): when the eye flashes, use the shotgun. Chaotic vibration can damage it normally. A player in that thread adds explosive revolver shots while it is kneeling. That second tip is one player. The 7 November 2023 patch adds a fourth, “super secret” way to win. The patch does not name the secret method or required item; this page does not supply one.
Other foes that are actually named
PC Gamer’s demo preview describes harmless mannequins that do not attack. The 2023 patch redesigns a Giant Killer Cell encounter. Spiders are mentioned in passing in the duel thread. This is not a bestiary.
Questions
How do you damage the Ascendant Champion?
The project lead says to shotgun it when the eye glints, or play Chaotic and hit it normally. A fourth method exists and is not spelled out.
How many bosses are in Divine Frequency?
Five named cards appear in one full Early Access video. The store does not publish an official boss count.
