The store figure is its all-reviews summary. The API recommendation total is reported separately rather than used as the denominator for the store percentage. Steam is the single source for these player ratings. Neither is converted into a critic score.

What critics have actually published

PC Gamer’s 8 January 2024 piece is a demo preview. The writer calls the demo one of the most anticipated things they might play that year. The 6 October 2026 piece is news about the launch after the lead writer’s death, and the headline calls it one of the scariest games that writer has played. Neither is a scored review.

GamingOnLinux’s 27 October 2026 first-impressions piece is positive about the atmosphere and also calls the opening effects “eye-strain city.” That criticism stays next to the praise. No OpenCritic entry with a score was found in this pass.

Should you wait?

Early Access is about 70% of the plan, two acts, and roughly 4–6 hours, with 1.0 undated. If you want a finished campaign, the developers’ own Early Access note says to wait. If you want the current build, the price and demo pages are the next stop.
