Direct answer
The demo is a separate free Steam app, id 2641750, for Windows. The full game’s store page still offers “Download Divine Frequency Demo.” It is not the Early Access game, and it is not a free copy of the $17.99 build.
How to download it
Install Steam, then open the demo page or use the demo button on the main store page. You need a Steam account. This site does not host the files.
What is confirmed inside it
Steam dates the demo to 25 October 2023. The 2023 Realms Deep trailer description says 27 October 2023. Both are recorded on the release page. The demo kept receiving patches after that: a large update on 7 November 2023, and “Last Patch Before Early Access” on 22 June 2026. The November 2023 note says core file changes make old saves incompatible. Do not assume a demo save carries into the paid game. Nobody official has said that it does.
The paid Early Access build is described as about 70% of the plan, two of three acts, and 4–6 hours. That description is about the paid build, not a promise that the demo contains those acts.
Questions
Is the Divine Frequency demo free?
Yes. Steam app 2641750 is a free demo. The full game is a separate paid app.
Does the demo include the whole first act?
An official chapter-by-chapter contents list for the demo was not found. This page does not guess one.
